A Fun Unexpected Neighborhood Game, You’re Been GHOSTED!!!

We’re Been GHOSTED!!!

So after the boys wen’t to bed last night my husband and I actually sat down to watch the World Series.  My husband decided to go outside and turned out the lights in our nicely carved pumpkins.  To his SURPRISE and mine he found a little paper Halloween bag.  We were hestitant to open it but then figured is was a friend sending us a surprise.  It wasn’t our friend or at least we don’t think so but it was a FUN SURPRISE.
We had been GHOSTED!!!
What a fun idea it was! So we will now be sneaking up to the front porch of 3 of our neighbors tonight.  🙂
Here is what it says:
“You’ve Been Ghosted”

•Now it’s your turn to “ghost” three other people in your neighborhood.

•Hang the ghost on your front door so that everyone can see that you have been “ghosted” and will not ghost you again. This will also let you know who you can ghost.

•Fill 3 bags with candy and treats. Copy this letter and the ghost three times. Include treats, letter, and ghost in your bag of goodies for the neighbors that you choose.

•After dark, and only with an adult, “ghost” 3 of your neighbors. Do not let the person that you are “ghosting” see you, for it adds to the fun of it all. Place the treat bag on the doorstep, ring the doorbell and run!

•It will be fun to see how many ghosts will appear in our neighborhood by Halloween.

Please keep it safe and enjoy!

Why not start this fun game in your neighborhood tonight!!!

  1. Fun idea…although I might get a little ticked off when someone rings my doorbell and my 4 dogs run to the door barking and wake my sleeping baby! I'm such a party pooper! :)Happy Halloween and Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest!

Our neighborhood hasn't done this in awhile. I'm going to try and remember to do this next year. It was fun.
