Surrender to Laundry – Mental Notes For Mommy…

I have learn many things through trial and error or heck just by
simply living my life. Something may happen and I say
“Make a Mental Note of that for next time.”

Surrender to Laundry – You will Never Completely Catch Up!

I can remember when I didn’t have any children yet.  It was just my husband I.  Back then doing laundry was barely a chore.  I could do it all in one day and not touch it again until seven days later.  Oh those were the days.

Let’s not forget when I had my first son.  I would soak every single burp cloth overnight to ensure all the stains came out.  I hung dry all his clothes to keep them in tip top shape.  What a crazy women I was.

Now, one to two loads a week have turned into about seven.  I am lucky if I get the first load folded, let alone put away, before the next is ready to go.  I use to think someday, when I was super duper organized and had my cleaning checklist ready, I would finally be able to catch up.  One sweet lovely day I would NOT have one bit of laundry to do.  I have since thrown in the towel.

I think I do about 8 loads of laundry a week, and I hate every minute of it! I'm trying to get caught up today. There are two clean loads waiting to be folded, one in the dryer, and one in the washer. Maybe I should surrender too!

  2. Oh, girl. I am right there with you! I have to do a load of laundry a day to try and keep up. It's a never ending story! 🙂

Ha ha, so true. I have to do at least one load a day, everyday, preferably two just to try and sort of keep on top of it! I've forgotten what the bottom of the laundry basket looks like!Found you on Blogfrog so thought I'd pop over to say Hi, you've got some great stuff here.
